ok I never really been a big makeup girl, because I had clear skin, but now I see that makeup makes people look better and prettier. I need some ideas. I mean, I want to get a daily makeup look going that could could be used for work and something for special occasions. I'm getting mascara, eyeshadow, I don't know about eyeliner because I'm wearing glasses-? I don't do lipstick, maybe lipgloss. Am I going to need foundation, powder, and concealer? I'm not sure about that to much? And should I get multiple shades of mascara? I just need any and all makeup help or any tips or information. Any decent answers really appreciated. Thanks.

  1. Mascara yes, Maxfactor 2000 calorie is very very good! You can get other colors but for everyday black is best i think, I wear blue sometimes.

Also with glasses eyeliner will still work, its good at making your eyes look deeper, it can be subtle too, most people won't notice. I only wear eyeshadow when i'm going out, too much fuss for everyday I think.

Lipgloss is good, but i get fed up with the sticky feeling and only wear it on nights out now. If you have clear skin stay away from foundation/concealer, or you won't have for long!

Experiment, buy cheap brands to test them, if you like invest in more expensive stuff. PPracticemakes perfect!

  2. You don't need to wear foundation or powder if you have really good skin, but if you want to use some I suggest bare minerals. It's really natural looking and good for your skin. For mascara, you can try different shades but I've always thought you should use brown for blonde, brownish black or black for brunettes and black if you have black hair. If you wear glasses, the mascara might make your eyelashes hit your lenses if it makes them too long. I would suggest wearing eyeliner, if you have lighter skin try brown otherwise try brownish black or black. A kohl pencil is the easiest liner to apply because it's softer. Liquid liner is a lot harder to apply. Lipgloss is a good idea too, hold it up to your lips in front of a mirror before buying it to make sure it looks good with your skin tone. When first starting, don't worry about buying expensive cosmetics (except the foundation/powder,  that is important). No one passing you buy will be able to tell if you spent $2 or $10 for your makeup. When you have experience you will know what you're looking for in a certain cosmetic and will be able to choose expensive cosmetics more wisely and not waste money trying everything.

  3. mark. lipgloss, get contacts, u'll look 100x better! and maybelline lash blast is great! everytime i use it people compliment on my long and big and beautiful eyelashes

  4. eyeshadow-- stay with natural colors or pick one of those almay eyeshadow's for your eyecolor. or if you want smoky eyes use a black eyeshadow to line your eyes or smudge your eyeliner.

eyeliner- is always good (it makes your eyelashes look darker) but dont put too much :)

    lipgloss- pick a neutral color.

concealer- only if you have under- eye darkness or blemishes.

foundation- you dont NEED if you have a good complexion. but never choose one thats darker than your skin it looks trashy.

powder- is good. it helps get rid of oil and makes your complection look even and sometimes covers minor blemishes, but if your happy without it, then dont use it.

mascara- you dont need more than one shade. stick with either black, or brown/black if you dont like black. but personally i recommend black. if you have thin lashes look for a full brush. i dont really like the rubberish brushes that much but always look for no clump. i hear that MAC has a good thickening mascara. if you have short lashes look for lengthening mascara, one of my friends say that maybeline define-a-lash lengthening mascara works really good. and if you have teary eyes or dont want your mascara to run get waterproof.

tips-- eyelash curlers are great. they help define lashes.

and when you put on your mascara barely touch it to your eyelashes.

and you can use eyebrow gel (looks like clear mascara) to keep your eyebrows neat throughout the day.

    and use makeup remover :)

    i hope i helped.
