Buying off ebay?

I'm wanting to buy a CHI off ebay, there are so many to choose from. I've never bought from ebay before, so what are some things I should be looking for to decide whether the item is as good as they say?

do the cheaper ones not work as good? there is one for like $15 and another for like $75.... would you go cheaper or buy the more expensive one?

go for one that is new, in the box or is in excellent condition. just because one may be more expensive than the other, doesnt mean it works any better. so try to find the best quality one. ask the sellers the condition. dont be afraid to ask questions about what you might buy. but just cuz something may be more expensive doesnt mean that its any better quality. good luck!
