  1. Solo and Electron cards are not acceptable on any train operating company as far as I know, certainley not in the South East Regions (SouthEastern, Southern, SWT, FCC, C2C, Island Line, Chiltern, MML)

As for buying discounted tickets, go as quickly as you can to your local Mainline station at least 6 weeks in advance and ask the clerk to help as they have most of the discount tickets availiable. Otherwise get someone else to pay for the ticket and pay them back.

  2. yeah thats fine i use mine x you CAN use it i do it every month, put it in as a maestro though, the symbol on the back of your card, no its more money offline, try gner.co.uk first

  3. http://www.virgintrains.co.uk/default.as...

    might help?!

  4. The site doesent accept solo im affriad, Here is the link explaing which cards they do accept.

    http://trainsupport.custhelp.com/cgi-bin...

  5. try ''trainline.com''

  6. You can go to your nearest station and buy advanced purchase tickets there.  However, you will have to pay by cash as Solo is not accepted by railway companies
