Buying people's cancelled flight tickets?

i can fly from anywhere in the uk at the last minute but can never find a last minute flight from people who have cancelled there flights for various reasons. there's no website's i can find either, does anyone know of such a website. ive tried lastminute.com/travelsupermarket.co.uk/c... aswell.

Andrew is correct, you can't buy other people's tickets.  The airlines check ID and if it doesn't match,  no go.  Period.  Don't let anyone talk you into it,  its a con.  The only thing flying will be your money out of your wallet.  As for coupons or mileage tickets,  technically those are also prohibited from being sold.  It happens, but the airlines have a fraud department and if they catch wind of it,  the ticket is confiscated and if its a mileage ticket,  the person who sold the ticket forfeits all their miles and is dropped from the program.

       I know its their miles and they feel they should be able to do what they want with them, but the airlines feel differently and they have the law on their side.  Its part of the agreement when you enroll in a frequent flier plan.

     In other words,  go with priceline or something and get the piece of mind knowing you will get where you are going.  Unless the airline cancels the flight.

Sorry but buying peoples cancelled tickets is a myth.

It's also almost always illegal to do so.

An air ticket is a passage contract between an airline and the passenger which ALWAYS states the ticket is non-tranferrable.

When it is cancelled it goes back into the airlines big pot of available seats and sold at the CURRENT price, not the original price.

The only exception to this is that occasionally people get 'travel vouchers' not tickets, and sometimes they can be sold on.
