so im buying phone off ebay, just exchanging phones my contract isnt up and im not starting a new contract (for sprint?)

and i was wondering what would happened if i bought a phone with a contract?? like what would happen if i bought a phone thats suppose to be for new lines of service because i was just planning on calling the number and having them activate that phone by me telling them the DEC number or whateverr....

would that not work??

It doesn't matter if you buy a new or used phone with or without a contract. However, if you are thinking of renewing your contract with Sprint you might want to consider just upgrading your phone - in most cases you will get a discount and a 1-year warranty.
