Buying stuff from Amazon?

I'm a Canadian. Is it possible for me to buy stuff (pretty much anything?) off amazon.com? amazon.ca does not have as many things as amazon.com... so that's why I'm interested in buying stuff off amazon.com

If I can... generally, how much extra would it cost for me? (shipping fees and exchange rates and such?)

I live in Alberta. My MasterCard is with MBNA Canada.

amazon.com has a international direct link , but unfortunately they don't ship to Canada because of amazon.ca/
