  1. Yes. A $55 item will cost you about 27 pounds. your bank may charge you a conversion fee and the conversion rate is not quite 2-1 anymore so you will probably end up paying about 28-29 pounds.

Don't forget to allow for postage.

  2. If you buy of American sites you will have to pay with credit card or pay pall or sometimes even cash, because of the hassle of getting money transferred from a bank in one country to an other.

But more likely the American site will not send to England. So check before you agree to pay.

In any case, on top of the cost of the sales will come packaging and postage, which will be much higher than in the USA.

So while your buy may only cost half of what it would in the UK, the overall price can be much higher.

I know that when I buy a book in the USA I often pay less than $1 for the book, but pay an overall price of almost $11, still cheaper than buying the book in Europe, but not what you might expect.

  3. lol ok I was staring at your question thinking. . . .ok is this guy and idiot?? Hahaha...

But yeah, that sound about right if you're converting. But I think they somehow change it to dollars. . . i really don't know.

  4. its basically 2dollars to 1 pound so just half it really

and just a pointer its not sight its site
