Buying the nintendo wii

Question

My wife wants to buy the nintendo wii to keep fit and is also wanting to buy the wii fit.

Can you help by saying what we should buy when we first get it, controllers, games etc.

She has around £300-£350 to spend so just needs an idea on accessories and games. she likes her sports games.

It comes with a sports game which is awsome! Wii fit is an excellent choice. another nunchuck and extra controllers is a good thing to have.

i highly recomend the wii.

when you buy the wii you should get "wii sports" with it and that is enough to do you along with "wii fit" to start off with.

you should have at least two controlers just in case one runs out of batteries or both of you would like a shot playing each other.

you can also get wii play which is lots of fun and will keep you active and jumping around. for the most "action" I would recomend "wario ware for the wii" it it an excelent game and will keep you busy.

you can also get a wii sports controller pakage that help you play the sports games.

e.g you can play baseball and in the package you can get baseball bat to attach to your wii remote.

Make sure you buy two controllers.  Also, if you get the chance, buy Mario Kart Wii.  This is by far the most fun game on the wii.  However, if it is sold out, I would recommend buying Super Smash Bros. Brawl.  Hope I helped!

i suggest you get more than one controller.

i really cannot live with only 1 controller because you have to constantly wait and wait until the person is done then keep sharing the controller & you lose your patients real fast.

& after you buy those i suggest you buy the games...

The wii is very fun and addicting. It includes Wii Sports, a controller, and a nunchuk. Buy an extra controller and nunchuk if there are two or more people that will be using it. It gets boring if you don't have someone to go against. I personally just like the original Wii Sports the best. Also, get rubber covers for the controllers so that if you hit it on something (it will happen eventually) it will not make any marks or do too much damage. Make sure you get some double a batteries. The batteries last a long time.

the wii is not a fit machine, you can lie to your self that it will keep you fit but the truth is if you want to get fit spend that money to get a gym membership.

Well, you will definately want to buy a second remote but you may want to consider getting Wii Play as that comes with a remote and a fun little game.

I would also recommend getting a sports accessory package for the Wii since you said your wife likes sports games.

If shes buy the wii to keep fit, she should buy a game called wii fit. It's fun and can help if you want to keep in shape. It comes with a fit board so you don't need to buy anything extra for it. As for accessories, save the money until you find out what each of your games need.

The game that comes with the WII is called "Wii sports" and it should be plenty to whip you into shape as long as you put forth the effort to imitate the movements as intended. It's very easy to succumb so the temptation of playing the Wii with a flick of the wrist!

if you just going try to keep fit it's better just to buy exercise movies LOL..

but wii fit is pretty cool.

first you need a wii (thats  $299 in dollars) not sure how much it is in euro.

you need wii fit the balance board(it's $130) that pretty much it if you plan to do exercising.

you can buy wii snowboarding (it's a game)which works with the wii balance board(wii fit).

if you plan playing wii sport you will need and xtra controller, go and bu wii play as it is the same price as getting another controller(it includes a controller with it:)

this Christmas Nintendo is coming out wii music and wii resort(like wii sport 2)

There's not much accessories to buy really. You can get the multi charger for the remote and extra remote and nunchuck if you like. As for as games goes, wii sports is pretty fun with friends and family. Mario kart is fun too.
