Buying the right amp?

I have two subs. One is 800w and the other is 1300w. I want to hook them both up in my truck. what kind of amp power do i need to drive these guys.

info NEEDED to PROPERLY match an amp to subs

the number of subs

the subs setup (DVC or SVC)

the subs RMS rated wattage (not peak/max)

the subs impedance (ohms), and/or the final impedance at the amp

(or the exact model number)

you will need two amps because of the different specs and it wont sound so hot because different subs have different sound characteristics- the only way to successfully mix subs is to have subs that have very close frequency response, RMS wattage, size, and sensitivity
