Hi, I have an emergency flight to catch tonight, I have found out that there is a flight at 1:45 AM on Monday ( Basically very late tonight). However to buy that ticket its 3000 USD ( normally its 1300 round trip). If I go to the check-in last minute and there is a spot, would they sell me the tickets for cheaper??? Thanks

  1. Nope.......your gonna pay big time.....plus TSA will target you and you will get special treatment at the security line.........BIG TIME

  2. Unfortunately, no.  The "walk-up" fare is called that for a reason.  Some airlines, if you are traveling due to the death, or imminent death, of a close family member have "compassion" or "bereavement" fares but you would need to contact that airline's reservations call center and provide documentation for the reason you are traveling.  Otherwise, unless there is a lower published fare which has no advance purchase requirement, you will pay the higher "walk-up" fare.

**If you edit your post to add the airline and your origin and destination airports/cities I can check if there is a lower fare available which doesn't require any advance purchase.  If so you can inquire about availability when you check-in.**

***OK - ChinaEastern - what is your origin and destination? - impossible to check fares without that info***
