Buzkashi to trouble Miss Cato and Abigails Angel in Fernox Fillies´ Handicap at Sandown
Buzkashi will try to make things tricky for Miss Cato and Abigails Angel in the class 5 Fernox Fillies´ Handicap, being held at Sandown on Thursday, May 24th. The 3-year-old is returning to action after a break of
more than seven months, making plenty of appeal from a mark of 74 on this handicap debut.
According to the plan, the 1m1f event will be started at 20:40 GMT. The going is good and a cash prize of £2,588 is reserved for the ultimate champion.
A dozen quality runners are all set to unleash their talent. Their names are: Miss Cato, Abigails Angel, Cresta Star, Buzkashi, Ogaritmo, Midas Moment, Winter Dress, Altona, Bondi Mist, Imtithal, Pearl Opera and Secret Era.
Miss Cato has been doing a wonderful job since the outset of her career. On the first day of 2012, she made her debut with a huge bang. After registering two consecutive wins at Southwell, A H Bennett’s filly won a contest at
Yarmouth last month.
In her most recent outing, she was a bit unlucky, missing the top spot by ¾ a length at Nottingham. None of Miss Cato’s three wins came on a good surface, therefore it will not be wrong to say that Sandown’s hard ground will
be a bit hard to tackle for her.
Abigails Angel is another in-form runner. With three successive wins under her belt, the 5-year-old is pumped up with confidence. The latest of her triumphant came at Lingfield, where she beat Methayel by a nose in the Football
Free Bets With FreeBetting.co.uk Fillies' Handicap.
Brett Johnson’s trainee won all of her recent three races on grounds with standard going. With no softness in Sandown’s surface today, Abigails Angel might find it difficult, but still her winning momentum is hard to ignore.
On the other hand, Buzkashi likes hard surface. On her debut in July last year, David Lanigan’s trainee did well to ensure the third spot in similar conditions at Newmarket. The surface is going to suit her and therefore, the
3-year-old has a good chance of registering her maiden success. Good luck to everyone.
