  1. Pray you don't need a fret job.

  2. Here is the correct procedure to do it yourself.

Look towards the middle of your neck starting from the headstock. Put one finger on the 1st fret and the other on the 12th fret.

This is a perfect line created with the string. Their should be a clearance of 1/8" max. between the string and the fingerboard.

If the string touches the middle fret (around the 8th fret) , then you will have to loosen the truss rod counbter-clockwise 1/2 turn.

First loosen the 2 middle strings to relieve some tension.

    Now, turn counter-clockwise 1/2 turn.

Retune the 2 middle strings and repeat the first procedure. Hold thge 1st and 12th fret, if it still touches, turn another 1/2 turn and that dhould do the trick.

Retune and you should see a difference. When their is a slight dip with 1/8", then the buzzing will stop definitely.

Now , lower the action to the max and raise it little by little until the buzzing stops. You should have a good action and no buzzing.

email me if you have issues....

  3. Its still a deal with the action, the thickness of the lower strings make them touch the frets easier. Try not to hit them as hard, or get something that raises them at the top of the neck (I don't know if something like the exists, but if it does itll help you w/o making a drastic change in your action).

Go around Guitar Center or bring it in and ask them, they should help in some way.
