Buzzing in television

i have had my sanyo 25 inch tv for 6 years. it buzzing loudly and i dont know why. i thought it was my u-verse cable, but it seems the tv just is buzzing and i see there is a running ling that goes verticle. is it my picture tube? would it be cheaper to repair or buy a new tv?
