  1. Sometimes words are used outside of their intended context. For example,  it makes no sense to ask what color is an electron, since it does not have internal electronic structures like a regular atom which the atom uses to reflect a specific frequency of light.

When talking about Dark Energy, it needs to be used with in the context it was used. People can take any word like energy, force, power and apply it in a spiritual context. But it has not meaning to science, since the word "spirit" is  essentially a very vague and perhaps undefinable idea that defies specific mathematical definition. Not to mention, that anything that can be called a spiritual experience does not withstand the high level of predictability that science requires. Also, many can posit equally good non-spiritual explanation of spiritual experience.

All this rigor and break down in consistency keep spiritual ideas out of the realm of science. You can bet the minute there is a way to repeat and confirm the reality of spirits through *rigourous* and *repeatable* scientific experiments, spiritual ideas would be welcome in science as another undeniable part of nature, but until then spirit must remain an entirely fictional concept.

With that in mind I must say that it is very highly unlikely that there are

anything spiritual in Dark Energy. Dark energy is simply a result of not being able to explain some astronomical data and the best idea scientists could find as a place filler is invoking a barely undetectable (hence "dark") energy.

    Hope the helps.

  2. OK!

im tired of you bombarding the science section with idiocy! stop it!

    go away!

  3. Seven--so take it to the logical conclusion.  Dark matter is alcohol.

The galaxy is surrounded by booze!

  4. From yoga sects and some scientific studies, the human spinal column and cortex can be used for what is similar in concept to a radio transmitter or receiver.

Conjecture about spirits, souls and things revolve around the idea that they are electromagnetic entities and operate as that, the human radio able to sense or translate these into a mental experience by someone able to "tune in".

This explains a lot of ESP type experiences where knowledge is transmitted over distance in controlled tests as the physical method used, so no real mystery, just a bias against the people who may have this skill.

A shaman is the name I associate with this type of thing for traditional knowledge from past cultures before hollywood got a hold of it. Today they get the "oh they were savages" look, but in the past were likely very spiritually sensitive so would likely get destroyed by our homey social clubs.

  5. No. It's clear that spirits are made of alcohol.

PS to Cereal. Columbus had a testable hypothesis (though he might not have thought about it that way). If you can devise a testable hypothesis about your suggestion, one that is consistent with what is known about dark matter, then you might find a receptive audience.

PS to Mistress. Wouldn't it be loverly!
