  1. it could mean that. But because the Republicans didn't have any viable candidates they were forced to scrape the bottom of the barrel.

  2. Yes.

  3. Bush was annointed by the GOP in 2000 because he did whatever they said to get him elected.  They used dirty tricks and smear on McCain.  Which is why he lost.  Right now, he's all they have.

  4. He's a still much better choice than an America hating Socialist like Obama. Do the testicles of a socialist taste different than those of a Capitalist? Get back to me on that one Chi g*y.

  5. Not necessarily, If Bush could run again, I am sure there are many who would vote for him.  I fear that McCain may be stuck with the same congress Bush had.  The in-fighting accomplishes nothing.

  6. Two versions of the same brand.  Like Coke versus New Coke.

  7. No it means that our second string is better than your first.

  8. Nah.

Bush just had Karl Rove who slimed McCain better.

Republicans respect slime. They will vote for whoever smears the other guy best, even if that person is a complete moron who is unfit to be even dog catcher.

    They proved it with Bush.

  9. Absolutely.  But look at the alternative.

  10. Yes, unless it was his daddy who bribed everyone.

  11. It could be.  It's really hard to decide which of these two is worse (or any of the other establishment candidates).  It's safe to say that they are all criminals.  Which one is the worst is really a matter of opinion.

  12. 8years ago, yes. But things change and now that Obama is running McCain is the best to fight him.

  13. Yes,  good point

  14. It's strictly politics.  I remember picking Ford over Reagan the first time he ran.

  15. you're talkin' about two distinct factions of the same party....but you already knew that....

...anything new on your guy...or are you going to give us a redux of "Bush stole '00"...?

  16. I think the religious right was largely absent in this primary election.

It is the religous right & the neocons that are always calling McCain a RINO (Republican in Name Only)

Maybe many neocons & RRs were voting in the Democratic primaries & that left the moderate Republicans to pick the candidates.

Maybe there are fewer neocons due to the Bush's poor job.

    I don't know the reason.

I am just glad Huckabee didn't win!

  17. Yes but infinately better than an America hating racist.

  18. Yes, but this year he is better than Obama.

  19. What about the rest of the country? Bush was a Texas governor, even better experience than 20+ years as a senator.

  20. Well of course.

Even the GOP can figure that one out ! lol

    Regards.
