By how many degrees has the average global temperature risen in the past hundred years...?

And how much more is it predicted to rise in the next hundred years? Has there been any noticeable effect on the temperature since 'being green' has started become a priority to more people? When will we start to see that take effect? That's three questions I know!

  1. 1.  it varies widely, but on average something approaching 1 degree.

    2.  it's not possible at the moment to determine what effect, if any, is attributable to "being green".

    3.  don't know.  there's a wide variation in the expected temp rise, and voluntary "going green" is not likely to produce a large result.  which is not to say that one shouldn't try.


  2. It's somewhere in the area of one third of one degree in the past 100 years.
