By taking project i am going to india how long i can stay?

i am on f1. i have completed all my courses and left with project. can i go india now for 2 months.

i'm from uk. we need a visa to visit india, this is for 6 months, but not sure if it is different from country to country. check with the indian embassy, and give your self lots of time to apply for visa before you book your travel, especially if you plan to travel in the tourist season, Oct/April, these are the busiest months for the Indian embassy issuing visa's

It is the usual visa rules that apply to all. Best ask the US embassy. 3 months may be allowed.

Go by the rules and it may be extended if you so desire. But if getting back is more important, do so.
