  1. strange dude says he your height , rides a 19" so your should get a 21" or so?

18 is likely too small check 19" or 20" but ya never know...

  2. Im 5'10 and have a 19 inch frame so you might want a 21 inch.

  3. I'm six' 2" and got a Trek with a 19 inch frame.  You would do better, and be alot more comfortable with a 20 or 21 inch frame.  Believe me, you do not want a small-frame bike.

  4. Chances are the frame will be too small.  There is no standard for frame sizing, though, so the best way to know is to step across it and see how it feels.

Within a range, frame size is somewhat subjective.  Some people like to feel "on top" of their bike and choose a smaller frame.  A smaller frame will usually feel quicker and more manuverable.  Other people like to feel "within" their bike and choose a larger frame.  A larger frame will tend to absorb the hard knocks of the trail better and be more comfy.
