Bye Bye Birdie Audition?

Ok so i have aidtions for bye bye birdie this December( i know its early but i really wanna get a good part. But my directors sort of type cast me as the "Best Friend" of the lead. But i really wanna get Rosie. I'm a srong alto so yeah... please name a few songs that i should sing. Please no wicked, hairspray or LES MIS. Thanks! :)

hahaha i have that play coming up to!!!! Im soooo excited!! My mom is accualy the directer of the play. She says if you want rosie some good auditoin songs would be: candle on the water from petes dragon, or something from funny girl like dont rain on my parade (p.s glee version is a whole lot easier!).
