Okay, my daughter is 20 months and to this point, has run to bed everynight because it's the only time she gets a bottle(mostly water, just enough milk to make it look white, lol). But lately she's been wanting a refill about an hour after she goes down, and she pees through her sheets everytime she lays down on her toddler bed. So last night, I refused the refill and told her that the bubbas had gone bye bye. She eventually went to sleep after 2 1/2 hours of all out wailing. And then today, for nap, we gave her water in a big kid sippy cup(by munchkin, no soft spouts or anything, she can't let it sit in her mouth), and she still threw a fit and didn't drink any of it, lol, but eventually she took a nap. I have the bottles all bagged up and am going to throw them in the trash can outside later, so I'm not tempted to give in. But how long should I expect her to cry? She's usually very good tempered and does well, but my downstairs neighbor was overhead saying she was going to call CPS if my daughter wailed like that again tonight. So I'll be expecting a visit, not that they will find anything wrong with my parenting, it will just be an inconvience for now. It also doesn't help that my neighbor's kitchen is just under my daughter's room, and I swear she doesn't clean or do anything around the house until my daughter is in bed, when the vaccuum wakes her up and they play guitar hero at all hours of the night with a good bass level that shakes the floors(I've asked, they don't quit). So how long can I expect her to wail, even in worst case scenario? She's not getting the dang bottles back, I'm done, lol. I don't even want to give her sippy cups, but will if neccessary, as I want to start getting ready for potty training, and I know if she's drinking all night she will definitely not be night time trained for years, lol. Not that I'm jumping into potty training right now, I just know how the logistics work, lol. Any suggestions?
