Anatoliy Byshovets also urged CSKA Moscow to win the upcoming Russian Premier League tie against Zenit St. Petersburg if they are to keep alive their title ambitions
There is little arguing to the statement that the Russian championship has little room for the foreign coaches. The likes of Michael Laudrup, Jose Couceiro and Ruud Gullit have all lost their jobs after struggling to find peace
in hostile Russian weather in recent years.
Unai Emery has been the latest victim, who left Russia with a heavy heart barely six months after becoming Spartak Moscow’s head coach. The Spanish tactician was sacked following the Russian outfit’s humiliating 5-1 defeat against
Dynamo Moscow at Luzhniki stadium.
Emery, who took a bold initiative to come to an unfamiliar league after leaving http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Valencia-CF-c40864 this summer, departed too early despite signing a two-year contract back in June.
The 41-year-old was fallen out at hard times despite starting the league campaign decently. Emery has now become the eighth manager to be sacked since Oleg Romantsev’s resignation back in 2003.
If speculations are to be believed Leonid Fedun, the Red-Whites billionaire owner, has talked to former FC Krylia Sovetov Samara head coach, Andrei Kobelev, for the vacant managerial position.
Anatoliy Byshovets has lamented Emery’s departure from Moscow, saying that the club’s management should have waited until the end of the ongoing season before making a hasty decision to sack the former Real Sociedad man.
“I think they made the wrong decision to replace Valery Karpin at first. And now they should have tried the new coach at least until the end of the season. Although Karpin has successfully worked with the team before the arrival
of the Spaniard, I think the decision to sack Emery was wrong.” The former Shakhtar Donetsk man was quoted as saying.
Speaking on the crunch league meeting between CSKA Moscow and Zenit St. Petersburg, Byshovets insisted that the Armeytsy are in the pole position to win the corresponding fixture after an immaculate start to the season.
However, he warned the Muscovites against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Luciano-c22574 Spalletti’s men, telling them that it will be difficult to win against the defending champions.
