  1. I was in Florence in October 2007, COI is still there.  I don't think they are going anywhere!!! There web address is http://www.coi-firenze.it/english/

    However gold is REALLY expensive right now and the euro exchange is high as well. Keep in mind their pieces are 18K gold.
