When people c-walk why do they brush their feet off??? Is that just something u do 2 start/end with or is it jut something u throw in there wen u feel its right???

okay C -walk or Crip Walk is a dance happens before the fight between two gangs. when they move their feet, they write there crew or town name and they brush off becuz it sometimes used as idea of "get off my block"  or write that blocks name and brush it off to just disrespect the other. i hope this make any sense to u.
