  1. There is still bleeding associated with a Cesarean section.  Both during the surgery, and then you will have the typical post-partum bleeding.  It just won't last as long and there won't be as much as with a vaginal delivery.

    Wishing you the best!

  2. theres no difference but c section will feel alot better that vaginal!

  3. I was told less because they take out more "stuff" when they are in surgery.  I had a c-section and bled for aabout a month.

  4. my best friend had a c-section, and I had a vaginal birth..We bled the same amount. Either way your body needs to cleanse itself.

  5. Not much difference, maybe fewer days of bleeding with csection.  I've had both.

  6. I just had my third c sec and only bled for two days and it wasn't very heavy at all. I bled a little more the other two and it seemed I bled forever with my vaginal. It all depends though. I think you actually bbledless because it is a clean cut and vaginal causes internal tearing from the contractions.

  7. Is the same..

  8. No difference

  9. i bled alot less after my c section!!! imagine the last couple days of your period! the first day 5 days i was kinda heavy but after that it kinda turned pink! But when i had my son vaginally i bled for about a month really heavy!

  10. i had both vaginal with my first and c-section with my 2nd .i did bleed a little less with the c-section and i only bleed for 4 weeks . with my first i bleed for about 7 weeks.

  11. The Cesarian is surgery and there will be bleeding. Conversely, in a natural birth the amount of Placenta stuck to the Uterine wall primarily regulates the amount of bleeding, from none, to fatal amounts from a large piece remaining stuck on. Regards, Larry.

  12. Some doctors will swab out your uterus for lack of a better word.  This can eliminate alot of the bleeding.
