  1. 3 or 4.  For the first day or so, then 2 or 3.  Mostly uncomfortable, I wouldn't say real pain. The cramping while nursing was more painful then the c section recovery in my opinion.  I took my pain meds due to the cramping more than for the pain.

  2. maybe a 5 for a day or so and then 2 for another few days. the pain is nothing compared to the pain of contractions!

i had the epidural in for 24 hours after c section so didnt feel anything until a day after. then i just had panadeine and anti inflammatories for a couple of days and then just paracetamol.

  3. The first id say 3 days were a 9 very painful especially when you had to walk. When I went home I was able to walk around good enough but I was on pain meds so Id say a 5 then. By the 8th day I didnt even need to take my pain meds anymore. Im at 4 weeks now and I feel great!!!

  4. 9 1/2, and that was with the drugs afterward(hydros and vicodin with motrin 800). It sucks.

However, my boyfriend got us evicted the day my daughter was born, so I had a matress on the floor to sleep on during my recovery at my friends home, and I ended up with an infected incision, so my situation was a little extreme.

I've heard some women don't have a hard time at all, but it depends on your tolerance for pain, and dealing with pain while you are exhausted. You need extra time to recover and if you overdo it, it just takes longer. I couldn't even pick up the carseat from the floor for almost a month, I had to have it handed to me.

I was actually so doped out on meds to get me through the night that on my daughter's first night home(I was on the couch that night) she woke up wailing and was handed to me. Apparently I just cuddled her in my arms, rolled over onto my side and we both went back to sleep, so I woke up with this little face an inch from mine. Freaked me out, lol, because I couldn't figure out how she got into my arms, and I still don't remember much the first few days.

    Good luck!

  5. My first was about a 5. The second one was a 10 if not more. My second hurt so much because my son was in the NICU at another hospital and I was out of my hospital 12 hours after my surgery walking and driving 2 hours to see the baby. I didnt let my body rest so it was horrible.

  6. 10. I didn't feel normal for at least 12 weeks. It really depends on how soon you get up and walk around after the surgery. I was stuck in the bed for four days and had a much harder longer recovery.

  7. Mine went between 2-5.  It depends on how much activity I did for that day.  The very first day I couldn't move because I walked every where trying to get better sooner.  It didn't work.  Take your time. I couldn't get up that night to go and breastfeed my son and that was almost 3 years ago and I still remember it like yesterday!

  8. for me it was about a 7, i had a dose of pain killers as soon as my spinal block wore off, then i had panadol for the rest of my stay in hospital. The most painful part is trying to get out of bed, once your up ts not as bad.

  9. i had a c section and i had very little pain they give u some pain meds to help the most painful thing is going to the bathroom for the first time afterwards
