CA permit expiring?

my permit is about to expire, if it does, and i retake it to get my permit, do i have to sign up for driving school again, and also do i have to wait another 6 months to take my license ? im pretty young still 16

no, just re take the test..

You have to retake the permit and vision test. But you do not have to go back to school or wait 6 months.
