Question:

CA - the earthquake state; would it be okay?

Out here in the west coast we are reminded to prepare for an earthquake, prepare for an EARTHQUAKE, PREPARE FOR AN EARTHQUAKE... Store water and canned food -

I got to thinking and was wondering if I could eat (in an emergancy) Friskies cat food? I mean once in an unluckly spin (dare), I ate a teaspoon and it actually tasted not so bad.

So, here is my question. Would it be unhealthy to eat mister Tinkle-Puss' Friskies cat food? Is there a reason we shouldn't eat it?

I'd love the answer to this other than: "I should see a doctor", because I'm only going to ask you if will you go with me?

  1. Yeah, it would definitely be a bad idea. The food manufacturing company i work for, up until recently, processed food products for both human and pet consumption.

The human food was done under very strict conditions, with constant, on-site USDA inspection and oversight.

The pet food however (or in company-speak "Non-USDA" Products) were much more lax, and the raw product we were starting with was quite obviously inferior product, probably from unhealthy animals. You ever seen blue beef? Bright red chicken? I have.

You know what a calf's gullet is? It's the throat. Yup. Grind the suckers up and call it dog food.

Anyway, we no longer produce Non-USDA meat products where i work, as it was making the USDA inspections more difficult.

  2. california is a great state and earthquakes like never happen so looky here sparky gbe a man

  3. I say stock up on the Friskies the big one is coming

  4. well your weird but i dont think it could hurt you to eat it, probably doesnt have all the nutients in it that you need, that and they mince up all kinds of c**p in there, things i dont think people want to even know about, but other then that you might grow ears!
