CABLE BOX GUIDE PROBLEMS? midconinent cablebox/DVR?

i got new channels and it has guide and stuff to pick form and tells me whats on and whatnot, well for some reason the guide wouldnt come up when i pressed it, or info, or menu, so i unplugged the cable box, now the guide works, but for everything it says yet to be announced...even the shows im watching, how can i get it to show me whats on. fix the problem

The "yet to be announced" problem will clear up over time, usually about 30 minutes later most of it will be working.

What ever caused the guide not to come up in the first place was probably fixed when you unplugged it.
