CACTUS wilting ??????

does anyone have any ideas on how to rescue my wilting cactus???

When was the last time you watered? Although cactus plants need very little water, they do need some.  Are you overwatering? This can cause root-rot.  Does the soil drain well?  Cactus plants need well draining soil.  Hope this helps.

If the leaves are wrinkled it needs more water but make sure the compost has plenty of grit or sand mixed in as they hate sitting in water. If they're drooping and limp or yellowing they are overwatered and the you need to remove the cactus from the pot, make a mix of about 50% sand or grit and 50% compost and replant without watering for a while.

more info needed - does it need watering ?, cactus don't need watering very often but they do need watering from time to time, have you over watered it ?, is the room its in too cold ?, does it have enough light ?, does it need re-potting ?, also it might need plant food if the nutrients in the soil are depleted. just some questions to ask yourself to help save your cactus.

Cacti are just one of the indoor plants we have kept over the years, but we have never had a problem with wilting.  I have just consulted all my gardening books but they are not very helpful, they all say that cacti will survive under any circumstances.  It could be to do with watering.  It could be to do with the fact that it's reached its end.  I hope you get some more useful answers than mine.

YOU MEAN YOUR SUCCULENT?  CACTI DON'T USUALLY WILT.  BUT SUCCELENTS WILL!  MY SUGGESTION IS TO GO BUY A NEW POT, GET SOME SUCCULENT SOIL AND REPOT IT.

Cactus don't wilt. If its getting skinny and long growing to one side. That is from not getting enough sun so its growing towards the sun. If its getting really skinny and looks unhealthy then that means its not getting enough water. If you give me more info I can help you more.
