Currently g*y Californians have the right to marry, but there's a "Proposition 8" that's going to be on the voting ballot in November which seeks to repeal that right and replace it with a ban written into the state constitution... Are you a registered voter in the state of California?.. If so... will you vote FOR the elimination of same s*x marriage or AGAINST the proposed ban....??

  1. I'll vote for the proposition again..... Just like I did last time. I am against g*y Marriage and believe it doesn't help our community.

Just because I believe in the Bible and vote that way doesn't mean I don't have a right to participate in the voting process. Because you don't believe should I call you a Satan supporting humanist? Look we all live by laws that were based on Biblical principals. Many of us believe that g*y Marriage will be destructive to our society just like the decisions of many young men to abandon their families and just look at the overwhelming percentage of the jail population that grew up without their Dads. There are good reasons why we shouldn't be able to marry the same s*x or our cousins or children or our pets.

  2. I'm 17, so I can't vote this time. But I am Californian. I would vote for the ban.

I'm fine with civil unions. Just don't call it marriage. That's between one man and woman. If you let g**s marry, then you must let polygamists marry. And then why not let old guys marry kids? You see the slippery slope?

I want them to have the same rights as anyone else. But I don't want it called marriage.

Look: Marriage is between one man and one woman, period. Thats the way it is. Don't insult my intelligence. I have a weighted GPA of 4.3. I'm an Honors Student. I'm also very well informed. Making fun of me just solidifies my resolve. Go ahead and ridicule me. I'm used to it. How do you think it feels to be a Conservative Californian? I'm always getting slandered for coming out and saying the obvious. Obviously homosexuality isn't natural. It doesn't work that way. Even operating from a purely Darwinian view, it makes no natural sense. Homosexuality would have been eliminated by natural selection, right? So it must be the result of some sort of hormone imbalance or neurological issue. Correct me if I'm wrong in any of that.

Just don't treat me like I'm ignorant or stupid. I'm not. Please respect those who disagree with you.

  3. I'm a strong supporter of g*y marriage.  I have seen many good people suffer, with no rights to medical care, property, children, etc.  I will vote to uphold the same s*x marriage act.

  4. What difference does it make if it is on the ballot, last time it was the g**s cried and stamped their feet and went to the courts and they over turned the WILL and VOTE of the people.

But that should not surprise anyone. When the libs cannot win it with votes, they let the courts make policy

It is NOT the job of the courts to legislate from the bench. It was put on the ballot, and the majority of people said they did not want it. But that never stopped a lib, force your c**p down peoples throats. That is your way.

  5. No I will not I believe one should marry who they want to marry regardless race, or gender.

  6. Ok I'm not going to lie. I'm from Oklahoma. But if for some crazy reason I DID live in CA (And believe you me someone would have to put a gun to my head) I would ban it. Sorry.

  7. Thank god the Oakies don't want to move to CA.  Well, we have rednecks in Maine but they are not the majority.  And they are usually to loaded on crack and downers to be much of a problem.  I lived in CA for many years, where I had my own business.  All my employees were chosen from the GLBT community.  I would move back to CA if I thought my vote would make a difference and assure that the proposed ban would not pass.  There is no reason not to support g*y marriage except hatred and biogtry such as the Oakie above has expressed.

  8. Middle America just doesn't get it.  Under the U.S Constitution all people are EQUAL with unalienable rights.  And I may add.... the separation of church and state.  It is unconstitutional to deny any rights to minorities that the majority enjoys.  PERIOD!!!!!!!!  This matter shouldn't even be up for a vote.  Just remember as a country...."United we stand, divided we fall."  As far as organized religion, don't get me started!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  9. AGAINST the proposed ban.

  10. I cant vote yet but yes i would because people have the right to choose their own lovers! I'm straight though!

  11. If I was still living in California, I'd vote against the ban. I think it's utterly ridiculous a bunch of self-righteous (often Bible thumping) jerks want to ban marriage between two people who love each other.
