I was considering a british Army tent 14X14 but I cannot find any with sewn in ground sheet. Where I am going is full of snakes so I would like a sealed unit.

Thanks in Advance..

  1. A queen size air bed is a mere 80" x 60", at least the one I looked at last night for another answer, and I fit that one in a 3 man dome tent from REI (in the US) which was 84" x 68". I'm sure you can find a smaller tent for that air bed than 14' x 14' with a sewn-in floor (Most tents in the US have floors so I'm quite shocked at the one you picked.) Maybe you want a huge tent, for long term "living" and I always suggest for camping people buy two tents, one for sleeping, with air bed, and one for lounging, which I would recommend a screen tent with roof.

    Also, most snakes avoid humans and I doubt you'd be going anywhere where they'd be a huge problem. They could always crawl under the floor and bite you through the nylon if they were really out to get you and the are was infested with them.

    Or if you are more serious campers/hikers and need a higher spec

  3. Are you camping or going to have an orgy? if you have snakes you need a bed with legs so the dam things cant climb up!!! personally i would sleep in a hammock they cant get you then!!

  4. Do you have a 'Go Outdoors ' outlet in your area? They have some pretty good deals on their tents at the moment;

    Or, how about trying ebay?
