  1. Yes, there was actually one born to an Indian woman on an airliner in the last few days, he's doing fine at an australian hospital.

  2. OF COURSE!

Babies can live when they're born even younger than that.

  3. Definetly! My fiances sister was diabetic, so the dr had to take the baby early, but she was a happy healthy 9lb 3 oz lil girl!

  4. Yes, most babies born at 34 weeks do fine.  They usually need to spend a few weeks in the NICU, but significant problems are uncommon.

  5. Of Course, but expect it to be kept in a humidy crib till it can keep its body temp and it breathes and feeds ok

My grandson now 7 months and very healthy was 32 weeks and was in a humidy crib for 3 weeks, all is ok and he is doing great

  6. I think a baby has a really good chance at living if born at 34 weeks. My nephew was born at 33 weeks and he is absolutely perfect now (He's 4)

  7. Yes, survival chances are already very good at that age.

  8. My oldest sister was born at 34 weeks 46 years ago and she's fine.

  9. Most definately! I know a women who just delivered her little girl at 34 weeks + 4 days - she was in the hospital for about a week (just for monitoring) and now she is home and healthy! A little tiny (as she was only 5lbs, but totally healthy)

  10. Yes, the youngest baby ever born was at 21 weeks! She is now 5 years old and healthy as can be.

  11. Depends on their medical situation. Was the baby born with problems already?

If no problems and just born early yes they can live. mine were born at 35 weeks without any NICU

  12. yes a baby can survive at 26 weeks

  13. Yes, but the baby has to be given extensive care. My friend's daughter was born at 34 weeks and it was an emergency delivery because she had pre-eclampsia. Her daughter's okay now and she's already a year old.

  14. Yes! I think the limit is 27 weeks old.

  15. Certainly!  The baby may need to spend a little time in the NICU but death is not common at that stage of development.

    Good luck!

  16. YES!  In fact the survival rate is basically 100%

  17. Yes and babies have been known to live when they are born a lot earlier than that. It all depends on fate. Some babies are born fullterm and don't live.

They try to keep the baby in for atleast 36 weeks, but sometimes babies just come.

  18. yes

  19. Yes a baby born at 34 weeks has an excellent chance of being completely normal. With medical advances these days I seen on the news a baby born at 24 weeks survived. Not only would a baby born at 34 weeks survive it has the best chances of being completely normal. Might need some assistance breathing at first but no long term health issues
