CAN A MUSK TURTLE LIVE IN A 10 GALLON TANK?!

  1. If he's a very young turtle you can keep him in there for a bit IF you can manage to control his water and basking temperatures in such a small space (most can't manage this in a 10 gal.).

    The general rule of thumb for space is 10 gal. of water per inch of shell length.  So, if he's 3", he needs 30 gal.
