  1. yes but they can't be any frontline infantry type stuff

  2. These wars are in 2 hostile countries.  I honestly don't know why it keeps being asked. There is no "battlefield" anymore. In these wars we are in their casa and the whole place always has the chance for vbied's being ran through your ecp with a follow on assault etc. So they don't need to "put you" on the battlefield. You will be living and showering on it already.

  3. No ,  , But women can and no direct combat roles for women sorry talk to your congressman

    Vet-USAF

Ad: You can be a medic and possibly be on the battlefield

  4. Women can be in the Marines.  Women are taught at boot camp to use their weapon.  They are sent to war situations and may find themselves in a combat situation.  So yes, they are at the battlefield but usually in the rear portion.  They try to avoid sending them in to a situation that is considered a "front lines" kind of thing.

Women, all across the country, do their boot camp at Paris Island because it is the only Marine boot camp for women.  They are separated from the men at Paris Island.  Men are also sent to San Diego, CA.

  5. yes they can, i was married to a marine and lived on base.  i met many women marines.  no, they don't usually put them on the front lines, but you may be placed in a 'hot spot', just not out in front.

  6. No, but women can join the Marines.

    All Marines are riflemen first.

  7. they can, but i dunno if they go into combat

  8. yes they can, just not in any special forces type position, just go air force its easier and they pay is the same as you progress in rank

  9. they can.

but you just cant fight on the front lines.

    (like in war movies)

but our military do sent really fight like that anymore, its more strategy and we have mass amounts of bombs.

    you should call a recuter.

  10. yes you can join the marines.  not sure about the battlefield.  know they use not to, but not sure now.

  11. Yes more than 6,000 women join the Marines each year. Women cannot be in a combat MOS. So you will not be on the front lines per say, but today's warfare has to front lines.

  12. Yes they can, however, they are not allowed to be sent to the frontlines of a battle. Despite this, in wars such as the on in Iraq, it's very difficult to define the frontlines so women Marines can find themselves in combat situations. I'm not sure if every MOS is available to women, though. You should talk to a recruiter.

  13. yes but no direct combat rules.
