  1. sure, somewhere.  [there are some county annual tax sales

    for $300 total price]

  2. You don't say what your annual salary is.

Or where you live (which would give us a ballpark of house/condo pricing, as it varies from place to place.)

So, there is not enough information to go on.

If you have "a job" that pays better than minimum wage, and you're willing to buy either a "fixer-upper", or a house in a less-than-pristine area, and your credit is good, I'd say yes.

Easy way to find out is talk to your bank mortgage broker.  They can tell you what your options are.

  3. it's funny how most people wake up one day and know that they are ready to buy a house.  You are ready.  The loan payment will be $8 per thousand that you borrow.  A $100,000 loan is $800 a month. Can you do it.  If you can, start shopping.  You could be moving in 30 days. /

  4. Typically, banks are looking for a stellar credit record, at least 20% down and payments equalling no more than about 35% of gross pay.

    I hope you qualify.
