I needed advice. I had just started birth-control on August 7th and had s*x on August 11th, but the condom broke. MY boyfriend had stopped saying he wanted a new condom because something didnt feel right and when he pulled out the one was ripped with a huge hole. I dont know how we didnt notice or at least I when a put it on. Well any way since he neve ejaculated in me I am hoping it is a slim chance I am pregnat. I usually get my period every 30 days but since I just started the pill and at the time I had s*x I was still on my period. I was just wondering what I should do.

  1. Well while ejaculating would be a definite possibility, you can get pregnant from "pre ***".  There is enough sperm in the pre *** to get you pregnant.  So, yeah I would say it is possible especially since your birth control has not had long enough to be in your system and start working at full strength.  The first month or two I was on the pill I used a back up method (not condoms) just in case.  Try spermicidal inserts, they really do the trick and can be found in any pharmacy.  I included a link of back up birth-control so you can see what I am talking about.

  2. When you got your prescription, you should have been warned that it is not totally effective for at least two months.  Some brands of condoms break more easily than other brands.  Even if you are using birth control, you still need to use condoms.  Pregnancy is only nine months but a sexually transmitted disease is a life sentence.  If you are having s*x with a boyfriend, you need to be very sure that the condom does not break so that you are not exposed to something more deadly than an unwanted pregnancy .

  3. Yup its possible

  4. yes its possible

just hope for the best =\

  5. Okay don't panic.  YOu were on your period when you started on your pill?  (never heard of that before but heh it's been a long time for me).  I would wait two weeks and then take a pregnancy test.  Wait two more weeks and take another.  By that time you should start your period.  If not, wait another week and take another test.  Be sure to buy them at the drug store and not a discount store.

You must realize that when you are on birth control it takes a month or so to be sure you are protected.  You must take the pill diligently or suffer the consequences.  The worry is not worth it. Good luck

  6. Yes it is possible.  Quit having s*x until your married and then you won't have to worry about this happening, duh.

  7. no that is a very sliiimmm chance. i mean if he didnt even ejaculate in you i highly doubt it. there is a thing called pre *** but very low chance. i have been using the pull out method for years and havent gotten preggo.

  8. Actually, according to my doctor, it's only a week until you are protected on your hormonal birth control pill. So 7 days = protection.

Your period will be off because of your new pill anyway. I would not expect it to be on your regular day in September.

You are probably not pregnant, as you did have s*x on your period.

The Plan B pill is only $15-30 and it is NOT abortion, it simply prevents ovulation. If you're feeling especially paranoid, you can take it as long as it's 72 hours before unprotected s*x.
