  1. How to do it:

  2. I can relate this GW theory to an old Burt Lancaster film called; "The Rain Maker"...he bedazzled a town with his charm. They were willing to give him anything he wanted.

We are seeing the same thing now on a grandiose scale, less the charm and willingness.

  3. You can change the weather, but not the climate.

  4. I would leave that one up to the professionals to do. It would be different if you where raised by these people and understand their ways and traditions, but with out the knowledge of the insight don't play with things you don't understand.

For instance, for three months in the first quarter of 1998, forest fires raged out of control in the Amazonian state of Roraima, 1500 miles northwest of Brasilia, devastating the rainforest. It hadn’t rained for months – an effect blamed on El Niño – and the ordinarily humid rainforest was bone dry, perfect kindling for the fire that had by that time scorched 15 per cent of the state.

The rains, usually so copious in this part of Brazil, remained elusive. The UN termed the fire a disaster without precedent on the planet. Water-carrying helicopters and some 1500 firefighters, including recruits from neighbouring Venezuela and Argentina, had fought the flames to no avail.

Finally, in late March, in desperation the weather-modification experts were called in. They consisted of two Caiapo Indian shamans, especially flown to the Yanomami reservation, which houses the last of what are believed to be Stone Age tribes.

To Western onlookers, the shaman simply danced around a bit and prayed, and gathered up a few leaves.

Two days later, however, the heavens opened and it began to pour. Up to 90 per cent of the fire was extinguished.

  5. Knock yourself out...

  6. You can be a Shaman first. It is the shaman's function to regulate relations between the spirits and the community in order to ensure the community's well-being.  Shamans concern themselves with such matters as locating and attracting game or fish, controlling the weather, detecting broken taboos that bring misfortune, expelling harmful spirits, and especially with curing the sick and guiding the souls of the dead to the spirit world.  Because of their special powers, shamans may gain considerable political influence in their communities, as, for example, among the COLORADO people of Ecuador

  7. You forgot to mention the Chinese PRC they can also change the weather, in fact the are doing it for the Olympics.

  8. Probably not.

  9. Lol. Yeah and if we all become rain dancers we can reverse global warming.
