Worry is a strong feeling of anxiety, its a fear of the unknown- the thought that the worst will happen. Here are 10 steps to stop worrying and they are:
MAKE A LIST

Make a list of your worries and arrange them according to their influence over you.

ANALYZE

Critically Analyze the list to know which worry is productive and unproductive. A productive worry is something you can work on. For example; if you have to travel to London and you need to prepare for your reservation and you're almost late, you can actually do something about it. Whilst an unproductive worry is something you can't do anything about. For example; worrying that you might get cancer or not.

EMBRACE THE UNKNOWN

You have to be able to embrace the unknown, letting go of things you can't control and focusing on the things you can control, being more grateful and joyful at the little things you have that others are struggling for. Example: Life.

STOP THE CLOCK-MENTALLY
People who worry a lot tend to always be in a hurry. The time is never enough, causing such restlessness within them because they have a certain goal to meet or that they have to attain something at all cost....PAUSE...to be able to win the clock you've got to aim to be organized and plan your day accordingly. For one day the clock would keep on ticking but you may not be.

PREPARE FOR THE WORST- HOPE FOR THE BEST

A great tool to conquer worrying is to prepare for whatever situation you need preparation for; be it a presentation, interview or a performance. You give in your best shot and there is nothing you can do about the outcome, You can only hope for the best.

EXPRESS EMOTION

Let out your emotions, confess your frustrations, scream, shout, cry whatever you feel like doing at that point in time, let it all out. This helps because when you are in this state you are not worrying, instead you are letting out toxic energy, and stress, after a while you will feel ready to start again and progress.

HOLD THE BULL BY THE HORN

This simple statement means "confront the problem head on''. Its usually not the problem that is the problem but the anticipation of the problem causing so much fear and worry, but the moment you face it, you'll realize it wasn't much of a fight.

SUPPORT
One of the most important tools to stop worrying is having support from family and friends. Pouring out your worries to someone that can talk to you and calm you down, sometimes worry blinds you to only see one side of the situation, until you speak to another person, you wouldn't even realize there was hope. Like the saying goes :"a problem shared is a problem solved".

ATTAINABLE GOALS

One of the things that causes worry is the kind of goals we set for ourselves. It is an excellent thing to dream big and aim high but do so being realistic. A goal that can be achieved in 2 years can't be done in 6 months, that is you calling Pressure and worry.

RELAX
Finally. Relax. Life is too short to worry. Go out for a drive, treat yourself to a spa resort, go on a vacation, go for therapy, adventure or better still hang around with friends and family, do the things you want to do! Just Relax and Breathe.
