SO today is the day before my period is supposed to come. With my birth control, I do not get periods, so I am going by the placebo pills. Tomorrow will be the start of those. Anyway, I've taken soooo many tests already and they all say negative. BUT I had unprotected s*x a month ago during a period that I missed 5 active pills. Since then, I've had bad nausea in the last week or so with larger b*****s (there's some color change too which I'm not too sure about and there's a couple of veins in my aerola area that are VERY prominent...sorry if that's TMI), and I've also had some issues with food as in being VERY hungry for a few days and then not even wanting to see food. What do you guys think? Could I just be testing too early or do you think that it's a negative :( I tested most recently 2 days ago and got a negative...should I retest or just take my losses and move on? Thanks so much!

  1. I tested a week after a strange period.  In actuality it was implantation bleeding.  Anyhow I was pregnant and got two negatives.  So I waited until my next period to come and be late and tested again.  It was positive went to the doctor for a blood test and was 10 weeks.  So don't always assume negative means nothing.  Get a blood test to be sure.

  2. The best way to find out if you are pregnant would be to go to your doctor and have a blood test done. I thought I was once pregnant, I had nausea and the whole works. I had to chalk it up to a stomach bug. I had the blood test and it tested negative. My doctor told me that if you a negative on a at home pregnancy test, usually that means you are not pregnant. He told me that those are pretty accurate. Seeing as how you don't have periods and are not regular. I would go get the blood test and put your mind at ease!

  3. I would wait another few days, just so you are past the actual missed period day and see what happens then. If you are still really unsure about it then, i would request a blood test at your doctors, see if you get a positive result from that. Good Luck,

  4. I would suggest waiting another few days and retesting.

It's possible you are pregnant, but it's also equally possible the symptoms you are experiencing are due to messing up your hormones by missing 5 pills this cycle.

  5. You can always try..it doesnt hurt..it is always exciting..i remember i got a positive and i still took three more tests...just take the test that says 5 days sooner..you might not always get a positive..some people do not get an accurate reading unless its by a blood test...if it says negative again and you miss your period then just wait a few more days...good luck...:)
