I recieved a Honors scholarship from CSU Dominguez Hills and I was considered a california resident. Today I found out Im not a resident and I would have to pay an extra $10,000!!! I cant afford that at all! I read it was a full fee scholarship and originally all it needed to cover was registration. Now I must cover out of state fees. Do you think they can extend the scholarship to cover it or atleast give me an out of state fee exemption???

  1. You need to talk to your school. I don't think anyone here can give you a yes or no. It depends on what your school has money for and what they feel they can do for you.

  2. Ouch.  That is really tough, when you make your final decision to attend this school don't get sucked in... your decision to attend this school shouldn't be based on how much money they give you, but on how much money it's going to COST YOU.  This is no longer a free ride... sounds like a scam to such you in to make you pay and think you are getting a great deal somehow.
