well my labor with my son was painful.. contractions were more uncomforatable than anything! Ans sitting in the bed for hours was very uncomforatable too.. pushing was the worst for me and all the pressure..  it felt like my whole bottom was on fire.. it hurts bad.. but once he was out it was all over and i had my lil man.. so thats what i gonna keep telling myself whan i have my daughter in 2 months that its gonna hurt.. but just get through it and its all over!!Good luck!!

I didn't use pain meds and the contractions felt like really bad unbearable diarrhea cramps.  When the baby was in the birth canal the cramping went to an unbearable need to push (almost like you've got a monster p**p) and when the baby crowns it burns to high heaven.  That's called the "ring of fire".  Then I pushed through the pain and was rewarded with my baby!

i may sound crazy to some of the other women that answered but when i gave birth to my son i had a natural delivery and i didnt fell any pain... well i felt some pain but it wasnt horrible or anything.. he came out fairly easy and it only lasted 4 hours...

i have never had a natural birth (all c-sections) but i came close once and it was the worst pain ever in my whole life but my sister gave birth to 6 kids the last two twins and she was normal all the way  up till they came out she was not fazed at all and i remind her all the time how she was so normal and talking and laughing with me with no meds involved it is so funny! so i guess it is different for everyone!
