CAN SOMEONE HELP ME...?

With today's slang ? I went to do a little birthday shopping for my daughter shes turning 17, and she likes this group Fall Out Boy and their was this shirt at HotTopics that I knew she wanted, so I got it for her. When she got home from school today I decide to give it to her and when she seen it she yelled out "sick" I was not sure how to take that, then when she told me that was good I was more confused now I grew up in the 70s everything was farout or groovy never sick. Can some of you teens tell me more slang, that would be just groovy...lol thnx

seeing as im sixteen if someone got me a band shirt from a band i liked that'd be sick haha (in a good way) and it depends on the way she said it like "eww sick" or just using the word sick in a normal way but ive heard plenty of people use sick in a good way and bad... or u could ask her if she liked the shirt haha

Teri, this is a universal problem. Now slang seems to change quite frequently and the best you could do is look up words when you hear them in the urbandictionary on the net
