Can someone help me find records for the Ervin family in South Carolina in the 1910,1920,or 1930 census records on ancestry.com.The family was Silvy Brown-Ervin born in 1892,her husband Toog(i dont know his real name could be John),Willie Ervin born in 1920's and was in WW2,Elliot Ervin,John Ervin.They were african american also.i want to find i tryin to find info on Toog Ervin birth and parents.

Ervin, Jr., born in 1915, listed as a Black Citizen, State - South Carolina, County, Williamsburg, enlisted 20, Jan 1942, Enlistment City, Fort Jackson, Columbia, Branch & Branch Code - Branch Immaterial - Warrant Officers, USA, Grade - Private, Term of Enlistmen - Enlistment for the duration of the War or other emergency, plus six months, subject to the discretion of the President or otherwise according to law, Education - 4 years of high school, Civil Occupation - Bridge Builder (Bridge carpenter. ) or Car Carpenter, Railway or Carpenter, Construction* (Carpenter, general.) or Carpenter, Ship An asterisk (*) appearing after a job title indicates that a trade test for the particular occupation will be found in the U, Marital Status - Single, with dependents, Height 62, Weight 133.  If I can find any additional info, I'll edit.
