  1. If you find that chapter of the bible worrying, there are good few you should never read.

It's about vows, promises, and the right of men to over-rule their women, whose commitments don't count unless their husbands or fathers (as appropriate ) approve.  Or give approval by default by not speaking out against them.

edit: you failed in a promise?  It happens.  Comes with being human.  So often rash,  humans.

If you are a Christian and consider it a sin, then sin can be dealt with, according to Christian belief.

    (I'm an ex-Christian atheist.)

But then in various cultures there are plenty of tales of the reverse... promises and vows kept, out of pride or a misplaced set of values,  when they should never have been.

  2. first try ignoring the old testament then when ur ready ignore the new and realize its all bs and has nothing to do with life today and move on doing Wat u will to make yourself happy don't take it so seriously

  3. In Biblical numerics, the number 30  means the blood of Christ- dedication.  No reason to be scared or fear anything when Jesus Christ is your covering.

  5. Main idea is to be careful what you say, because God will hold everyone accountable for every idle word they have spoken.  Do not make vows or promises but rather let your "yes" mean yes and your "no" mean no.

If you have broken a promise to another person, go to that person and ask for forgiveness.  If you have broken a promise to God, ask Him for forgiveness and He is faithful, His mercies are new every morning!

  6. A foreigner was touring the USA on holiday and stopped in a remote bar in the hills of Nevada. He was chatting to the bartender when he spied an old Indian sitting in the corner. He had tribal gear on, long white plaits, wrinkled face. "Who's he?" said the foreigner. "That's the Memory Man." said the bartender. "He knows everything. He can remember any fact. Go and try him out." So the foreigner goes over, and thinking he won't know about English football, asks "Who won the 1965 FA Cup Final?" "Liverpool," replies the Memory Man. "Who did they beat?" "Leeds," was the reply. "And the score?" "2-1." "Who scored the winning goal?" "Ian St. John," was the old man's reply. The foreigner was knocked out by this and told everyone back home about the Memory Man when he returned. A few years later he went back to the USA and tried to find the impressive Memory Man. Eventually he found the bar and sitting in the same seat was the old Indian only this time he was older and more wrinkled. Because he was so impressed, the foreigner decided to greet the Indian in his native tongue. He approached him with the greeting "How". The Memory man replied, "Diving header in the six yard box."

  7. Mind telling us what that verse is for everyone who is too lazy too look it up

  8. You need medical help, stop reading the stupid sexist made up  nonsense and get some medical help.

  9. It means, that if you promise something to God, but your dad or your husband will not allow you to keep the promise, or force you to break the promise,  then you do not have it held against you...they are the ones that God will hold accountable for the broken promise.

If you are single and willingly break a promise you made to God, then you are held accountable.

It does not mean you are going to h**l...it means his feelings are hurt toward either them or you...and it is a mark against you for judgment day.

  10. Numbers 30 deals with the sacredness of vows, especially of keeping them.

  11. Seek and you shall find.
