  3. There may have been a tornado in Chicago. Somewhere in the suburbs there was one, but that's all that I am aware of at this point. The severe portion of the system has mostly moved out of Illinois.

  4. Tornadoes can happen ANYWHERE.  Every state in the US has had a tornado.  In fact, every continent in the world has had a tornado, except for Antarctica.  But even in Antarctica, tornadoes can happen.



  5. Looks like there was an EF0 tornado in Elmhurst, and perhaps an

    EFO tornado in Bensenville, IL.

    Both places are in Cook County.

    A tornado warning was issued for central Cook County at 7:38 pm and lasted until 8:30 p.m.

    The reports of the tornadoes are unconfirmed still....it is up to the National Weather Service assessors to figure out if the tornadoes are official.

    I heard the sirens go off around 7:15 pm.
