Matterofact I guess one would be a Desperate Dan to want to back in a 5 and a bit furlong Apprentice Handicap at Bath, however, living a few miles away I shall probably go and because of that I had a look at the form. DD must have a chance, but not for me. Matterofact will be thereabouts but with the summer this year being such a hermit there is a topical tip. . . With the summer sun now shining over Bath this morning. . SUMMER RECLUSE should come out of hiding and show a really good run. Has won on 25% of it's visits to Bath..will go on the ground and has won over Course and Distance. The trainer has two other runners in the race which I feel is just to hide his real intentions.

And whilst you are on about Obrien....I am waiting and waiting for his Kingdom of Naples to run, looks like it will be September.. but by god has that one got a turn of foot !!

12-30 and just off to Bath, somewhere I remember a tip for Poppets Sweetlove in the 3-00 so have already taken the 12-1 with Ladbrokes....

Oh yes and stupidly I don't fancy any Obrien horses today - There is a 5-1 shot that has already beaten King of Rome over the distance and could do it again.
