CAN YA HELP ME OUT?!

I've got really bad blisters on my feet from my shoes, I know once the shoes break in, it'll be OK, but until then, what are some good ways to prevent the blisters from getting worse? Besides the obvious band-aid, because that ain't cutting it for me!

  1. Sorry to hear that. You've got my sympathy, as I've had the same thing and know how you feel.

Where is the blister? What type of blister is it??

If it's on the bottom of your feet (more likely on the front half of your feet, if it's due to playing tennis) and if it's full of fluid, then you ought to Stop straight away, you have to wait until it heels up otherwise, the blister will get ripped open, you will get infection then you will have to wait much much longer for it to recover. Try this: soak your feet every night w/ very very salty warm water, the salt will help to dry out the blister, when I did it I kept my foot in the salty water as long as I could, then dry your feet, put some E45 cream on, the main idea is to  keep it dry. It took me nearly 2 weeks to get rid of it.

If it's on the side of your feet, and there isn't fluid in it, you still can play. Yet again, you need to put E45 cream on it. and put some bandage on it, or there's a type of spray on band-aid. This type of blister will eventually turn to be hard skin, will be on your feet long termly, it won't hurt you any more when the tough skin's formed.

After all, you need to find the most comfortable tennis shoes for your feet, everyone's feet are different, you have to try a few.

At this moment, all you need to worry about is: Do Not get any infection!!

    Hoping this helps.

  2. Make sure your socks are not wrinkled, that is the number one reason for blisters forming and getting worse. Also, instead of a band aid try using mole skin patches (you can buy them any pharmacy or drug store) they are like band aids but tougher and will allow your blisters to heal quicker. Also, if the blister is big enough take a pin and puncture it to get the liquid out and then put neosporin on it then some sort of bandage.

  3. I used to get blisters durring ski sesion and my coach told me to use

ducktape, or this skin stuff or whatever (I forgot the name of it srry)

  4. i haven't really been in that situation before but my coach once told me to wear 2 pairs of socks so my feet won't blister. maybe that could help
