  1. depends if you don't want to pay cash do the time, some states jail you at 40 dollars a day you do the math

  2. Yep Its called a bench warrrant they can hold you in jail for 30 day before you go to court . they have all legal rights

  3. Yes, if a court (not a police officer) orders you to pay restitution, and you don't...then the judge can order your arrest based upon "Failure to Comply".

  4. You can be arrested for not paying restitution, but restitution is usually set by a judge during a court proceeding or a plea agreement.  Then if you don't pay, the judge issues the because you have failed to comply with the his or her orders.  (You can usually arrange to make payments if needed.)  I didn't know that an officer could impose restitution, but if you hit a lightpost, you need to pay for it and he may be saving you some money and some time and perhaps additional legal issues by allowing you to pay for it without going to court or something.  I suggest that you pay it rather than wait to see if he does arrest you.

  5. Yes, if it was court ordered and you do not pay it a judge would place a warrant on you.

  6. YES!
