Hello all. I am a high school senior contemplating what to major in next year. I definitely am interested in environmental stuff. So far, I am thinking about environmental engineering and geology. I can't go into environmental engineering because alas, I suck at all those higher math classes. Now I understand the geology program requires high math classes aswell, but I've talked to a couple of people and they've said the classes are not as rigorous of course. Anyways, I understand that geology jobs are really hot right now, but there may or may not be good job prospects for geology in the future. Is this true? I really don't know. I want to travel the world and really make a difference and at the same time get a good salary. So, please tell me what the job prospects for a geologists is in the next 5-10 years. And if its bad, should i just pursue engineering?

Its a scam, but if you want to get rich, do what Al Gore does. sit on your butt and Transfer one persons carbon credits to another persons account and say your saving the planet. Even though its all a lie. lol

first of all eliminate "anyways" from your vocabulary. secondly, society keeps changing which needs engineers, not geologists. that realm has already been overtaken by psuedo-enviromentalists.
