CAN somebody help me about U.K visa???????

okay,here is my question:

DOES A GREEN CARD HOLDER(NOT US CITIZEN) NEEDS VISA TO GO TO U.K IN THE WAY OF COMING TO U.S.A..

THE GREEN CARD HOLDER IS COMING FROM BANGLADESH....SHE IS GOING TO STAY IN U.K FOR ABOUT 23 HOURS...

I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IT..

If a US perminent resident is to stop by in UK or any other country other than US and his/her own country of citizen, yes he/she will need a UK visa. If it's 23 hours, then he can apply for a transit visa.
